Okay for sure I have to keep an eye out for K.A Knight’s her books because everything I read from her I find amazing!
Just like this book, I loved everything written down in it. The excitement, the sassy FMC, the man, the dog, the people, the weather… Every single thing. It is like magic coming from her fingertips.
When are hiding for your own kind you don’t want them to find you. So when four hot witches walk into the bar you work. And no this isn’t some bad joke.
When they walk into that bar and find you. You just hope they don’t know what you are. Our FMC hides from people who hunt her. Only those four male witches aren’t looking for her, they found her and want to keep her. Only they first have to find someone else, and she is the one who could help them.
I liked how they walked into her life, scooped her up and placed her inside their family. And the balls this girl has! The jokes, the sassy parts, the action and how everyone reacts to each other is great. I don’t know what to say more.
It is my second book from Koonce, and I like her writing style and the way she makes the worlds come alive.
It is quick and dirty. Not really dirty, spicy and hot is a better way to describe it. I like the idea behind this story and read it with much joy. It was on my TBR list for a quite a while, I´m happy that I picked it up.
This book tells you about a woman who got away from her demons, only to be found by the men he sent to find her. The funny part about it all is that they don’t know that, they aren’t aware that she is the one they are looking for.
Which gives this book the fun twist, like I already said it is fast and spicy, just the way I like it. Still it has a good story that keeps you hooked into the book and looking forward to start boo two.
How A.K. Koonce described the characters is great. I love the FMC, she is fun, has an attitude and loves herself a little more then other MC do. The men are brooding, sexy, smart and funny. I like how they are so different from each other, makes them fun to read.
Want a quick read, something fun, grab this book here and start. A.K. Koonce also wrote An Assassin´s Death, I really liked that one to. I haven’t reviewed it here, I had a holiday in Bali when I read it.
This book is good. I loved the emotions that coursed through me when I read it. I had tears in my eyes, was laughing when something funny happened and I love how she pieced this whole world together.
This is a book I certainly recommend you should read. You have it all, from a strong FMC to, really nice friends and then the brooding men, protective men and sweet and perfect men. I loved how she wrote them, made them come alive and gave me something to look forward too. Book two.
The book tells you a story about a girl who loses everything, she is alone and doesn’t know what to do. She is accepted into a school for Variants, even when she is a human. And that is when everything starts, she learns about her past, finds a family and friends and everything seems okay. Until!
Yeah, go read the book. Not going to tell you more, pick up this rollercoaster of emotions and amazing written book.
This book was amazing and it shows so much more of the characters. I love how she switch between almost all of them;how they all tell a part of the story, giving you a bigger view of the whole picture. This book is all about Merriton, her past and how she fights to overcome that past.
To be honest I expected a little more drama in it. A little more confrontation, still I don’t miss it. I liked that this book showed more of the rest, more of her pack. And that it still showed her that she is Iliri and not a god, like some bad guy thinks he is.
The world building is always amazing in Auryn books, and she didn’t disappoint. I missed a little more sexy times in this one, but that is fine also. I think it is an important book in the whole story of Sal, the book shows her that there is more to life then fighting and winning. It is an important part of her journey.Read More »
“Like, like, like, and quadruple like,” Dom said. She made exaggerated motions while tapping her phone. Dom was lying on the couch in front of our television. That thing needed to be changed, since it likely hadn’t been cleaned for months, and the television was so old it had a long antennae sitting out from its back. It was so old it might as well be a piece of decoration. When we wanted to watch shows, Dom and I simply used our laptops.
I stirred my cup of coffee. A café latte with an extra dose of sugar. I used last month’s paycheck to splurge on a coffee machine. Best decision ever. “What are you liking so hard about?”
Dom, full name Dominique, waggled her eyebrows. She was my roommate in our dingy little apartment. A caramel-skinned goddess with a big poof of hair she rocked and christened Angela.
Her skin would be glowing if the lights were on. The landlord should have come down to fix the lights in the living room three months ago, but it still wasn’t working. Dom and I didn’t have it in us to fork out the money for a new light-bulb. It was the landlord’s job, after all.
My roommate sat up and flipped her phone so it faced me. I had to squint to get a better view of her screen. “Um… it’s a dude.”
“Not just any.”
I slugged back a big gulp of my coffee. The caffeine and sugar zinged through me. Ah, nothing better than a fresh dose of addictive substances to knock back the cravings. “The picture’s probably Photoshopped till kingdom come,” I said. I sat across from Dom and kicked my legs up onto the coffee table, knocking aside some magazines. We really needed to clean this place. Sure, I could use Pop’s money to hire some cleaners, but I hated taking much from him. The only reason why I was stuck by his side was because he had this ‘family needs to be close’ policy—if I tried to run, he’d hunt me down and drag me back. Read More »

The Royal Trials, Imposter. Written by Tate James.
I have waited for this book for some time, and finally got the chance to read it today. And it was good, totally worth the wait.
You will meet Rybet Waise, a thief and a mercenary. She has to save a friend from the dungeons of the royal palace. Should be easy for someone with her skill set. Only she finds herself pulled into the Royal Trials, a competition to find a wife for one of the princes. It should be easy to get out of there, right? The trials aren’t what they look like to the outside, behind every smile and polished face there is a terrible truth. Because if you fail these trials, you don’t go home, you don’t even make it out of the palace alive.
When the harsh reality sinks in, Rybet needs every skill she has to stay alive. She has to deal with people wanting her dead, her boss wanting her to succeed for his own goals and keeping herself alive to get out if this mess. How will she survive?
