Taming, To Tame A shifter book one,
By A.K. Koonce.
It is my second book from Koonce, and I like her writing style and the way she makes the worlds come alive.
It is quick and dirty. Not really dirty, spicy and hot is a better way to describe it. I like the idea behind this story and read it with much joy. It was on my TBR list for a quite a while, I´m happy that I picked it up.
This book tells you about a woman who got away from her demons, only to be found by the men he sent to find her. The funny part about it all is that they don’t know that, they aren’t aware that she is the one they are looking for.
Which gives this book the fun twist, like I already said it is fast and spicy, just the way I like it. Still it has a good story that keeps you hooked into the book and looking forward to start boo two.
How A.K. Koonce described the characters is great. I love the FMC, she is fun, has an attitude and loves herself a little more then other MC do. The men are brooding, sexy, smart and funny. I like how they are so different from each other, makes them fun to read.
Want a quick read, something fun, grab this book here and start.
A.K. Koonce also wrote An Assassin´s Death, I really liked that one to. I haven’t reviewed it here, I had a holiday in Bali when I read it.
Have a nice read,
Variant Lost, The Evelyn Maynard Trilogy.
This book is good. I loved the emotions that coursed through me when I read it. I had tears in my eyes, was laughing when something funny happened and I love how she pieced this whole world together.
This is a book I certainly recommend you should read. You have it all, from a strong FMC to, really nice friends and then the brooding men, protective men and sweet and perfect men. I loved how she wrote them, made them come alive and gave me something to look forward too. Book two.
The book tells you a story about a girl who loses everything, she is alone and doesn’t know what to do. She is accepted into a school for Variants, even when she is a human. And that is when everything starts, she learns about her past, finds a family and friends and everything seems okay. Until!
Yeah, go read the book. Not going to tell you more, pick up this rollercoaster of emotions and amazing written book.

Have a nice read,
Oath Forger book one, by Nia Mars.
The earth isn’t the same any more, people try to survive on a planet where there is nothing more but barren land. A girl tries to survive with her sister, scavenging around their home to find things they could sell to make a living for themselves.
Only one day everything goes wrong and I’m being kidnapped by pirates. Not the one that used to come over the sea but the ones from space. Leaving my sister to fight for herself and me to find a way back to her.
How am I going to do that when the man from my dreams appears right before me and claims me as the Oath Forger. The person who is foretold to bring peace between the kingdoms of space. Protecting me from harm and taking me to Merim to meet the other man, or as they are called the Five. The five man rule a part of space and they are the presidents/kings/warlords from space, they are the Krek’s. And I’m thrown into this all without knowing what is happening, so I play along. Keeping myself safe, planning for an escape back to my sister and hoping that they don’t find out that I’m just a girl from Earth and not the Oath Forger like they claim me to be.
I really hope they don’t find out that I’m lying, I really need to go back to my sister and I can’t do that when I’m dead.

So the newest series by Jasmine Walt might be one of my favorite. Kingdom of Storms in the Legend of Tariel book is a great read. I loved the whole book and it was one of those that I didn’t want to be over. I am already anticipating book 2. In the realm of Fjordland, magic is frowned upon and women are essentially owned. Women that are accused of being witches are burned by the inquisitor to keep all of the other women in line. Men are the leaders and the ones that are in sole position of everything. Tariel is held by the Tyrook family and under their control. She has been forced to stay on her own and away from many of the others in the keep. Tariel has a secret that she has to keep hidden. She can do magic as she knows that one of her parents had to have come from the nation that accepts magic. She has an interest in one of the knights who in return has an interest in her Riann. But at the same time there is another that is as interested in her as well, Calrain. Where Tariel is from, the mages (witches is considered to be a negative term) take multiple partners/lovers in order to control the magic that the mages have. Tariel, Riann, and Calrain are forced to flee from the Tyrook castle to escape the witch hunters.
Tariel has to learn her magic and her love for the two men, though with her guide she is told that three are better than two.
