The second book in the Academy of Spirits and Shadows, Haunted by C.M. Stunich. After the events of the previous book, so much has changed for Brynn. Talon has been taken by the wolves and the queen won’t allow anyone to deal with the issue. On top of that Dyre and his brother are having issues. Without Dyre to be connected to Trubble, Trubble has the chance of going completely shadow and losing himself. Vexer has been helping out Brynn and knows that he wants her for his mate. While he is more of a monogamous type, he understands that Brynn has feelings for Air and Eli.
Brynn starts to work on the spell to try to get Air, Eli, Cross, and Dyre back into their bodies. The spell has to be perfect or there is a chance that the guys will never get to come back. So much happens in this that the best option is to just read it I swear.

The final book in the Hijinks Harem series is here.
Idonea & Amanda: Finally! We get to know who the fuck Gemma is.
Elements of Desire by Tate James and C.M. Stunich is back for one more book full of sexy plumbers, lots of sex and the plumber jokes.
I: Really love the plumber jokes!
Arizona Smoke was having a great wedding until the end when a random woman shows up claiming that her new husbands are in fact supposed to be her husbands. Gemma, a women that five of the guys use to know shows up after having disappeared 10 years before.
It seems that the horrid mother in law invited her, and Gemma wants to end Ari’s relationship with her six guys though they want nothing to do with Gemma. The group goes to visit Ari’s mom in Down Under during their honeymoon and what a shock cunt MIL get on the plane along with the homewrecker Gemma Darling.
It isn’t a coincidence that Gemma is there, and she thinks the guys will want to be with her just because they have a past. Much to her chagrin the guys can’t stand her and only have love for Ari, even Dustin and his assy ways. The seven of them seem to be getting stalked by Joan and Gemma Darling, and Joan goes out of her way to treat Ari bad, like always. The guys promise Ari that they truly love her and could never love Gemma even with their past. Gemma plans something evil and hurts the link between Ari and her elementals. On top of all that, Ari learns more about her past and about the plans of the bio parents for her and her husbands.
I: And don’t forget the wine, something happens to the wine. Keep your priorities straight.
This was a great ending to the series. We both wanted to tit punch Gemma, (I: not only tit punch, know so many places that would hurt). Luckily Ari got her chance and did it for us in the book.
We both hate Gemma, don’t ask us why, because you will get a really long list. She was totally unlikeable throughout the whole thing, so good job writers!
This book is written from Ari’s point of view and her soul takes a beating in this book. But her guys love her completely and never waver from loving her even after all of the shit that happens to them.

The newest stand alone by C.M. Stunich Baby Girl is not all smiles. This book is not part of a series but its own novel. This is not for the faint of heart. Some people even claim that it made them cry. I wasn’t one of them, but it does get you in the feels. The book starts two years earlier. Embry and Phoenix are best friends, but they are a threesome group of friends with Codrick, Embry’s boyfriend. It’s prom night and Embry and Phoenix are waiting for Rick to pick them up, but as time goes by, he doesn’t show. Embry and Phoenix decide to take Phoenix’s motorcycle and meet him in the middle. The two come across his car flipped over and off the street where Rick has been killed. In his arms are flowers that he has for Embry for their night at prom. Embry falls apart and stops functioning where Phoenix takes care of her. At the funeral, Embry picks a fight with Phoenix and leaves home in Louisiana to go to school in New York. Two years later, Embry returns after her father has a heart attack. And Phoenix comes back into her life. The newest novel by C.M. Stunich has been released. C.M. said that this is her favorite that she has written and I can totally see why. Spirited is the first in The Academy of Spirits and Shadows reverse harem series. It follows the story of Brynn of Haversey and her handler Jasinda, as they attempt to exorcise a ghost to earn their way into the Spirit Academy after being rejected 7 times. But Brynn is special. She is half angel and half human whose black wings are so much larger than her that she often knocks into things and falls over. And this combination gives her the ability to see ghosts and spirits. And yes ghosts and spirits are two different things. While on her assignment, Brynn runs into ghost Elijah that has been trapped from a year when he and his handler attempted to exorcise the same ghost, but they didn’t make it out alive. Elijah helps Brynn and somehow in the process is unbound from his place of death and bound to Brynn. While on their return, new ghost in tow, Brynn meets Vexer a griffin (in this story griffins are essentially men or women that can trun into griffins but always have their huge wings on their back) that returns her to the capital city. He takes an interest in her and tries to get her to go on a date with him, which she refuse, but later regrets that choice. But she has more important things to do, like get Elijah back to the castle that she lives at and have him speak to the queen.
