Voyage to Ayama

Voyage to Ayama, by Katie Knight.

Reading Voyage to Ayama was an amazing journey! This book is written well! It flows, the world building is amazing, the men are good and the MC Indy, is thought out perfectly; her emotions and reactions to things. It sucks you in and keeps you in this amazing new world.

I’m in love with Katie Knight and her writing style, her mind makes up these amazing books! And I can’t wait for the second book.

If you like space travel, reverse harem, a strong MC who has a heart of gold and fights dirty, twist and turns that will leave you breathless and secrets you need to know the answer too! Go read this book and fall in love with Katie and her worlds she writes!

This book tells about a spaceship that has left Earth. Earth is dying and people are looking for a new place to live. The MC’s parents took her with her on their trip, bad things happen (like in so many books and stories)  and Indy ends up alone. A ship divided and in turmoil makes for a dangerous trip. Luckily she has a man she can trust and who will stick around no matter how broken she appears. A lot happens in this book, leaving you guessing for what will be next, only to find out that you are wrong and something totally different happens. Which is great. Not many books surprise me anymore, they aren’t cliché. This one book was something that took my breath away when I started and I hated it that it ended.

Back to the book, it ends up with them in trouble, what I won’t tell. You have to read it. Only one thing I will say, not everybody is who they say they are or look. Pink, yeah there will be some pink.

Go get this book, read it and fall in love with Katie, the same way i did. Through her amazing writing!

Have a nice read,

When it Rains

When it RainsWhen it Rains, Where she belongs.

Book one.
Written by Kitty Cox.

My go to genre is fantasy, everything that is fantasy themed is something I read. So this book was sort of new for me. I read RH, a lot. So that isn’t something new.

First and foremost, this was amazing! I loved the flow, the writing style. I read it in one breath, stayed in bed the whole time reading this book. It is amazingly well done. And I can’t wait for the second book, this was emotional and just perfect.

I read about triggers, that some people react to things, never had that. Until this book, it brought up memories that I don’t want to remember. Still it was so good written, so live like. That is what makes it a good book, it made me cry, feel everything.

This book tells you about Brook, a woman that works in a animal shelter. She is married to this really A-Hole, and I hate him for sure. You did good with that one Kitty Cox. Then there are these two brothers, who save dogs and one of them plans on saving her, from her A-Hole husband. And that is the short version of this story. I really loved how Kitty described the characters, how she made them come alive and how she made me love all the good once.

It is a book you should read, you should inhale and never let go. If you get what I mean.

Pick it up here and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Have a nice read,

Taming

Taming, To Tame A shifter book one,

By A.K. Koonce.

It is my second book from Koonce, and I like her writing style and the way she makes the worlds come alive.

It is quick and dirty. Not really dirty, spicy and hot is a better way to describe it. I like the idea behind this story and read it with much joy. It was on my TBR list for a quite a while, I´m happy that I picked it up.

This book tells you about a woman who got away from her demons, only to be found by the men he sent to find her. The funny part about it all is that they don’t know that, they aren’t aware that she is the one they are looking for.

Which gives this book the fun twist, like I already said it is fast and spicy, just the way I like it. Still it has a good story that keeps you hooked into the book and looking forward to start boo two.

How A.K. Koonce described the characters is great. I love the FMC, she is fun, has an attitude and loves herself a little more then other MC do. The men are brooding, sexy, smart and funny. I like how they are so different from each other, makes them fun to read.

Want a quick read, something fun, grab this book here and start.
A.K. Koonce also wrote An Assassin´s Death, I really liked that one to. I haven’t reviewed it here, I had a holiday in Bali when I read it.

Have a nice read,

Variant Lost

variant lostVariant Lost, The Evelyn Maynard Trilogy.

Book one.

Kaydence Snow.

This book is good. I loved the emotions that coursed through me when I read it. I had tears in my eyes, was laughing when something funny happened and I love how she pieced this whole world together.

This is a book I certainly recommend you should read. You have it all, from a strong FMC to, really nice friends and then the brooding men, protective men and sweet and perfect men. I loved how she wrote them, made them come alive and gave me something to look forward too. Book two.

The book tells you a story about a girl who loses everything, she is alone and doesn’t know what to do. She is accepted into a school for Variants, even when she is a human. And that is when everything starts, she learns about her past, finds a family and friends and everything seems okay. Until!

Yeah, go read the book. Not going to tell you more, pick up this rollercoaster of emotions and amazing written book.

The Wolf of Destruction, a dark reign

wolf of destructionThe Wolf of Destruction, a dark reign book one.
Written by Savannah Rose.

Going to do things a little different this time. If you want to read  what this book is about, check it out here.

Zombies, you know those guys who are dead but still walking around. They give me the creeps and nightmares. I can honestly say, I’m not a big fan of them and normally don’t pick up a book with them in it. Only this book was different.

In this book you find Shifters, Zombies and Humans in a dystopian world. And to be honest, this was great. I love the way the author builds this world. How we humans made the shifters and also made the zombies. Yeah, go humans, we are really terrible in reading signs…

What I liked about this book was that the female main character is human. Not some powerful shifter, no just human. And that the man in her life are shifters, they are the kind and the humans are kin. She has her own harem of shifter man, who support her and help her. But they don’t rule the land. It is all to keep a balance, and after the world falling to pieces they found out that this was the way to rule. With a human queen on top.Read More »

Upheaval, Rise of The Iliri Book Eight

UpheavalUpheaval, Rise of the Iliri Book Eight.

Written by the amazing Auryn Hadley.

This book was amazing and it shows so much more of the characters. I love how she switch between almost all of them;how they all tell a part of the story, giving you a bigger view of the whole picture. This book is all about Merriton, her past and how she fights to overcome that past.

To be honest I expected a little more drama in it. A little more confrontation, still I don’t miss it. I liked that this book showed more of the rest, more of her pack. And that it still showed her that she is Iliri and not a god, like some bad guy thinks he is.

The world building is always amazing in Auryn books, and she didn’t disappoint. I missed a little more sexy times in this one, but that is fine also. I think it is an important book in the whole story of Sal, the book shows her that there is more to life then fighting and winning. It is an important part of her journey.Read More »

The Royal Trials, Imposter

theroyaltrialsimposterThe Royal Trials, Imposter.
Written by Tate James.

I have waited for this book for some time, and finally got the chance to read it today. And it was good, totally worth the wait.

You will meet Rybet Waise, a thief and a mercenary. She has to save a friend from the dungeons of the royal palace. Should be easy for someone with her skill set.

Only she finds herself pulled into the Royal Trials, a competition to find a wife for one of the princes. It should be easy to get out of there, right?
The trials aren’t what they look like to the outside, behind every smile and polished face there is a terrible truth. Because if you fail these trials, you don’t go home, you don’t even make it out of the palace alive.

When the harsh reality sinks in, Rybet needs every skill she has to stay alive.
She has to deal with people wanting her dead, her boss wanting her to succeed for his own goals and keeping herself alive to get out if this mess. How will she survive?
