Mercy’s Protectors a new series by A.M. Hardin is available today. Mercy isn’t what she seems especially for an 18 year old. Ten years prior, Mercy was kidnapped and tortured by Payne and his henchman Jerome. After four years of captivity, Mercy was rescued by her father and uncle, losing her father during the escape. Mercy is different though. While raised by her human mother, she is in fact a half demon. Getting neither her mothers blue or her fathers red demon eyes, Mercy got a blend of purple. When Jerome wanders too close to where Mercy and her mother are living, Mercy has to go into protective custody with the Order, a group of other supernaturals from the five races. Demon, witch, shifter, vampire, and fae. She is given to Hunter’s team and expected to follow his orders when all she has known is her mother and uncle. Her uncle taught her how to defend and fight making sure she never is a victim again. Mercy is being hunted, but can she stay hidden or will her new protectors have to protect her every day forever? What happens when those said five protectors are the sexiest men you’ve ever seen?
Primals by Lexy Timms, is the first of three in her new reverse harem series. The story begins with a plane crash in the Alaskan wild. Her last thought was asking for help from anyone that could hear her. She wakes up to find herself in an isolated cabin in the middle of a nasty snowstorm. When she wakes she meets her rescuer, Sebastian. While under the grim and dirty hair, Clarissa thinks that he could be attractive, she finds him more to look like a homeless man. But what she doesn’t realize at first is that Sebastian can hear her projected thoughts, and well she can hear his. To him this isn’t something that should be able to happen, since she is just a mere human. But after she is able to heal quickly without a scratch, Sebastian has to know who and what Clarissa is. After he stupidly locks her in when she wants to leave, Clarissa breaks out of his house and begins trekking though a snow heading hopefully for a town. After hours of searching she stumbles upon a seedy bar and is rescued by Theo. Theo offers to help her get to a phone, but the only way to get there is to take his boat to Anchorage, the nearest town. Sebastian follows Clarissa and confronts she and Theo, where Clarissa learns that Sebastian is in fact a wolf shifter and Theo is a bear shifter. This freaks Clarissa out and whole she flees, she runs into Kyle, her best friend and coworker. But Kyle has a secret, he is in love with Clarissa, though she doesn’t realize it. More events ensue to the point that they meet Toshi a former Japanese ninja and cat shifter. Clarissa’s past is looking for her. Can the men protect her from the past and help to form a future. This is a totally slow burn reverse harem.

Idonea & Amanda: Finally! We get to know who the fuck Gemma is.
Elements of Desire by Tate James and C.M. Stunich is back for one more book full of sexy plumbers, lots of sex and the plumber jokes.
I: Really love the plumber jokes!
Arizona Smoke was having a great wedding until the end when a random woman shows up claiming that her new husbands are in fact supposed to be her husbands. Gemma, a women that five of the guys use to know shows up after having disappeared 10 years before.
It seems that the horrid mother in law invited her, and Gemma wants to end Ari’s relationship with her six guys though they want nothing to do with Gemma. The group goes to visit Ari’s mom in Down Under during their honeymoon and what a shock cunt MIL get on the plane along with the homewrecker Gemma Darling.
It isn’t a coincidence that Gemma is there, and she thinks the guys will want to be with her just because they have a past. Much to her chagrin the guys can’t stand her and only have love for Ari, even Dustin and his assy ways. The seven of them seem to be getting stalked by Joan and Gemma Darling, and Joan goes out of her way to treat Ari bad, like always. The guys promise Ari that they truly love her and could never love Gemma even with their past. Gemma plans something evil and hurts the link between Ari and her elementals. On top of all that, Ari learns more about her past and about the plans of the bio parents for her and her husbands.
I: And don’t forget the wine, something happens to the wine. Keep your priorities straight.
This was a great ending to the series. We both wanted to tit punch Gemma, (I: not only tit punch, know so many places that would hurt). Luckily Ari got her chance and did it for us in the book.
We both hate Gemma, don’t ask us why, because you will get a really long list. She was totally unlikeable throughout the whole thing, so good job writers!
This book is written from Ari’s point of view and her soul takes a beating in this book. But her guys love her completely and never waver from loving her even after all of the shit that happens to them.
