The newest release by dynamic team C.M. Stunich and Tate James is here. Welcome to the bayou of New Orleans in Dark Glitter the first in the Wild Hunt Motorcycle Club. Ciarah (pronounced Keer-ah) has awoken behind a cafe not remembering who she is, what she is, or why she is there. Ciarah meets Caley and is brought into the diner where a tall tattooed man notices her. Ciarah is severely injured and Caley attempts to take her to the local hospital. But on the way, Ciarah gets sick and starts to change before Caley’s eyes from her skin and her body. Caley then takes her to The Wild Hunt’s Clubhouse. At the clubhouse Ciarah meets Reece, Killian, and Arlo the stranger from the diner. Each of them is interested in some way in Ciarah though Arlo doesn’t want to be interested. Ciarah learns that she is in fact a fae that hadn’t been seen in over 186 years. She is in fact the Keep of the Veil and it is her job to help and judge the fae trapped on earth. But Ciarah’s memory is mostly gone aside from a few snatches here and there. She is unable to initially speak and can barely hold herself up. But once Killian helps to heal her, she gets her voice back, but not her memories. And Ciarah feels that there is more in her mind than what she used to have. She learns who she is and what she has to do in order to get the rest of her memories of being the Keeper of the Veil.
This is a reverse harem that is pretty steamy though there will be four guys in Ciarah’s life that aren’t all there yet. Each of the chapters are written from the main character’s point of view. So at this time the chapters follow Ciarah, Reese, Killian, and Arlo. This was a great read. I hated having to stop reading it to sleep. It is a seamless written book between the two authors that have never disappointed me ever. I love their dynamic of words and writing. The characters are awesome, even with Arlo being a walking dick. Ciarah is such a badass and I love her no taking shit attitude. She is such a strong character especially knowing what her past held for her and that she could rise above it is fantastic. Each of the guys are great and I love Killian. This is such a great read and I am looking forward to book 2.
